Placemaking

On assignment for We The City a creative agency in Amsterdam. Society Fresh produced a placemaking project to showcase new uses of a well trodden but bare square in Amsterdam. A big colorful carpet was laid down for a month and hosted local initiatives such as local food, workshops, music, sports and culture, that made people stop and experience a well-know but boring place in a positive manner.

Impact: show community and government the potential of a well-known place.
